Wednesday 21st May

We were back at Pembrey for the third and fourth round of the championship hoping for some good results from me and the rest of the team. After struggling with the overall handling of the car we weren’t to sure what this weekend had ready for us.

After qualifying third and fourth in both races I was pretty confident that we could get a good finish from these races as long as the car could stand up to the pressure.

In race one we struggled with the handling of the car and as it was a sprint race there was nothing we could do about it. I just had to sit it out and do the best job that I could which managed to secure me third place in race one. Race two was a 30 minute enduro race with a 45 second mandatory pit stop in the middle which allowed us to change the car during the race. At the start of the race again I was struggling with the handling of the car but managed to hold third place, then we had the pit stop and the team made some fast but dramatic changes to the car which payed of well. We miraculously found almost 1.5 seconds in the car just like that and after the Seat lost its brakes and went careering of into the wall at Honda curve we managed to secure second for race two.

It was a long and slow wait for over a month now until rounds six five and six take place at Croft circuit.
