We were finally here. The final round of the championship. And the pressure was more than on for me. In this race as long as the driver who was sitting behind me sitting in second in the championship didn’t win the race all that I had to do was just finish the race.
After having suspension failure in qualifying which wasn’t really great I came in 6th on the grid which annoyed me a lot because I really wanted to be on the front row for the final race and go for the win.
As the race came the car hadn’t got much better and I was still suffering badly from a lot of under steer despite the team doing everything they could to get the suspension working properly again. I sat in 6th position all of the race and to be honest was bored out of my brains the entire time because I had nobody to rustle with. I was disappointed that I finished the race in 6th because all I would have really liked would have been one final podium positions, but I guess I had my fair share of those with six podium positions out of only ten races.
Well all I have to say is I hope I get as lucky in 2008 and I will keep you updated with all of the news for 2008 as quick as I possibly can.
