It was finally here the last round of the year and it was closer than myself and I think anyone could have ever predicted. I had to win the race and get fastest lap to take the title home with me. So I got of to a good start by taking pole position.
This was another motor slaughtering 45 minute race which for our poor cars doesn’t do them a massive amount of good but there you go. It was a pretty straight forward race. I led from the lights, everything went well and we managed to nurse the car home to another win for the TMS team. And my second championship was in the bag.
I was so happy walking away from the weekend knowing I had done it allover again just as I had the year before.
So signing off for the 2008 championship. With a massive thanks to my Mum and Dad and the rest of the family for all the support they have given me this year and also a huge thanks to the Thorney Motorsport Team for their faultless decisions to take me to my second championship. And all the best for them next year with their new driver line up.
